The Digital Rebel came a lot faster than I thought! Now I don’t feel bad that I didn’t pay for faster shipping.
We took the camera for a test drive. There were a lot of settings plus basic photography knowledge that we have yet to learn, so the results were underwhelming. But owning a SLR (or maybe just the price tag alone) definitely inspires one to learn.

Ooooh…the flower picture! A picture that flash actually enhances rather than washes out.
