Random updates
I’ve been busy with VBS stuff, hence the lack of updates. I took a LOT of pictures that I plan to put up, but that’ll have to wait. See Dan and Katy for VBS-related updates.
I’ve heard stories about restaurants in China—how people waiting for a table will literally stand behind or next to you and watch you eat to make you leave faster. Pretty crazy, and rude. I don’t think I ever want to experience it. Anyway, I was watching Animal Planet the other day, and came across this scene:

You see, a cheetah had just made a kill and is trying to enjoy his meal when a group of vultures gathered around him…
Lastly, in rememberance:

They do that in New York too. When my sister, her husband, a friend, and I were eating at a restaurant, we were finished and were chatting while the wait line got big. The waiter stopped by and gave us the bill unbidden and said, “Thank you for your patronage, have a nice day!” and walked off.
My guess is that these restaurants people go to are really small and need to accommodate a lot of customers and restauranteurs need to learn the term “expansion”.
Hmm…New York too huh? I guess I’m not totally surprised. Maybe that restaurant is so popular they can afford to lose some customers?
